Meet Sogs Dylan and Lee | Alternative Rock Band

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sogs Dylan and Lee and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sogs, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Lee is originally from the Pacific Northwest (Washington and Oregon) and Dylan is from the South (Alabama, Florida and North Carolina). We’ve both lived in Colorado the majority of our lives at this point though, primarily in the Loveland/Fort Collins area. Each of us have always jumped at the chance to travel new places, meet new people and experience as much as humanly possible. That part of our upbringing and ongoing drive helped each of us to broaden our world views and have a vast appreciation for trying new things.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We’re kind of focused on the here and now for the moment, so we’ll just say that currently we’re really proud with the niche we’ve carved out for ourselves in this area and I guess on a personal level we’re proud of ourselves for learning and growing constantly. If you aren’t playing, writing and performing the rust starts to accumulate, and in over a decade of playing music together we haven’t let that happen. We always seem to find something in the music to keep us excited.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
You can’t go wrong taking someone to see a game at Coors Field. Even if you aren’t a baseball fan there’s something magical about having a hot dog and a beer outside on a warm Colorado day. After that there’s no shortage of cool places to wander into downtown.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to all of the friends and strangers alike who have kept this project fun and exciting every day. Without people who cared about what we’re doing we’d just be spinning our wheels and it’s such a thrill to play for people who are excited to listen. Thanks to each and every one of you.
