Meet Stephanie Sawin | Luxury Realtor & Market Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephanie Sawin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stephanie, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
People have always commented on how much I can get done. It took me a few years, but I got into the habit of scheduling almost everything. Looking back it began with the utmost desire to want something. I have always wanted to be healthy and fit. I’ve been working out since I was 14. I do it because I want it and make it a priority over other things. I make it happen. My time blocking and scheduling began with a book. When I was pregnant with our first daughter, my husband was introduced to the book 12 Hours Sleep by 12 weeks Old. Almost everything in that chunky little baby’s life was tracked. Combine these together and you get a successful formula of wanting, making it happen and tracking your success.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career as a Realtor started as a suggestion from my husband, and it’s been a journey full of ups and downs. Balancing starting a business and building a family wasn’t easy, but through grit and determination, we created Greater Than Group. I saw a need for transparency and honesty in real estate, focusing on educating my clients rather than just closing deals. Over time, I realized that buying or selling a home is one of the most stressful and important decisions in a person’s life, and I’ve made it my mission to help them through it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a huge Castle Rock fan! It is the one place I have lived the longest throughout my entire life. We love the local breweries 105 West, Great Divide and Iron Mule. I am also a huge coffee snob, and Crowfoot Valley Coffee is a must visit. A stop at the Emporium to shop, hike “The Rock” or participate in one of the town events are great entertainment options. I also love a quick trip to Garden of the Gods. The Ecclesia food hall is a crowd pleaser for food or the food trucks at 105 West Brewery, Dos Santos, Tribe, Union…anything downtown will hit the spot.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband, Mitchell Sawin.
