Meet Sydney Bosshart | Logistics Ninja & Experience Curator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sydney Bosshart and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sydney, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
After working for other companies in weddings, I realized pretty quickly that their typical clients and values just didn’t align with mine. I found that the only way I could really enjoy planning weddings—and do my best work—was by working with couples whose vision and priorities matched my own. Creating my own business meant I could establish my own brand, values, and approach that truly resonate with the kind of clients I love to serve.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
For me, planning events and travel is an art form. It’s about storytelling—taking who someone is at their core and translating that into an experience their guests or loved ones will never forget. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter celebrations or “shoulds.” Every couple’s love story, every traveler’s dream deserves to be honored in a way that’s personal and intentional.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just plan logistics—I design memories. I guide my clients to focus on what matters most to them, often challenging traditions or expectations to make sure their celebration feels truly them.
Getting here wasn’t easy. Early on, I worked with clients who were completely misaligned with my style and values, and I realized the only way to do this work sustainably—and joyfully—was to be clear about my brand’s vision. I had to get comfortable saying no to the wrong fit so I could say yes to the right ones.
I’m most proud of the trust my clients place in me. It’s a big deal to hand over the keys to such important moments. The lesson I’ve learned is that authenticity attracts the right people. I want the world to know that this isn’t about throwing the “perfect” wedding or trip—it’s about creating meaningful experiences that become the best stories you’ll tell for years to come.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If friends were visiting me in Colorado, the first thing we’d probably plan is a night at Red Rocks for a concert. It’s such a quintessential Colorado experience—the energy there is amazing. During the day, we’d definitely find some water to cool off, whether it’s paddleboarding on a lake, lounging at a reservoir, or even tubing down a river. Colorado summers are all about that balance of nature and fun.
But honestly, my circle of friends tends to take it a step further. We love traveling and exploring together, which really aligns with my entire business philosophy of valuing experiences over things. I’m actually planning a friend’s wedding group trip to Mexico right now—helping them create memories together that go way beyond the ceremony itself.
Personally, I’m also deep in planning my own 40th birthday trip with my family to Japan. It’s important to me to use travel not just for fun, but to connect with our history and culture. That’s exactly the kind of intentional, meaningful experience I try to design for my clients too—whether it’s an event, a group getaway, or a personal milestone trip.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely my mom. She did corporate conferences when I was growing up, and I’d help her out as a kid—that’s really where I got my first taste for the logistics and planning side of things. It planted the seed early on. I also want to shout out my mentor-turned-best friend, Jessica from Pink Champagne. She’s been such a source of wisdom, support, and encouragement as I built my own brand. I wouldn’t be here without either of them.
