Meet Taylor Moore | Creative Lifestyle Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taylor, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Creative lifestyle photography was a passion I discovered later in life, but I have always been a dreamer and wanted something more than the typical 9-5! When I realized how much I loved creating content, I knew I wanted to make this my full time job! I wanted to wake up and do something that I love and travel the world with the man I love because my business allows me to travel and make money anywhere!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a creative lifestyle photographer in Denver, CO! I love taking photography ideas and adding an extra element of creativity and fun to them! I post photos and behind the scenes videos to give others inspiration to have fun and get creative at well! Recently, I have been pushing myself to get out of my comfort zone and try new things to expand my knowledge. It’s been really fun, but can also be stressful especially if my photo doesn’t perform as well as I’d hoped. But I just keep learning from mistakes and seeing how photos perform and what works and what doesn’t so I can enjoy the process and grow as a creator! I think the hardest part for me is I am really hard on myself and can be a perfectionist. But I always try to remember why I started this business in the first place and try to have fun with the process. When I have fun and remove the pressure from myself, I find the ideas flow even more and my work is much better as well!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would start by taking my friend to brunch at Sassafras for mimosa flights and a delicious breakfast in downtown Denver, followed by a trip to Voodoo Donuts. Afterwards, I would take them to RiNo to see all of the street art and have a fun photoshoot in the afternoon. For sunset, I’d take them to Mount Falcon park or Roxborough State Park for some beautiful views and a nice hike! Followed by dinner at Angelo’s Taverna in Littleton. They have amazing Italian food and wine!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My boyfriend Seth is so supportive of me and my goals! He helps me with my shoots either by setting up, driving with me to locations or even taking some photos of a tripod isn’t available. Seth gives me his time even though photography isn’t his passion and always encourages me to keep going even when I feel discouraged or my progress isn’t happening fast enough. He is my rock and I am so grateful to have such a supportive partner in life!
