We had the good fortune of connecting with Tony Sartain and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tony, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process about starting my business was very eye opening because even though I new exactly how everything was gone be ran and had my layouts but once everything came together it was very overwhelming.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Being an entrepreneur mean you have a lot of roles you have to play. Especially if you don’t have a team in place at the beginning. Because I love this so much when it was rough I really didn’t get to experience that but more so the learning experience as I went. Just knowing my vision and what I had in mind, and what I wanted to see was definitely the most beautiful thing I experience.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A weeks visit we definitely would start off by having brunch or dinner at a place called the beehive which is so delicious and if we don’t go there will try out XOXO were they will be able to do a little photo shoot and have a little fun before eating. Also will go to deep ellum. And walk around and just see all the artwork while we have lunch at Terry Blacks BBQ and hit up some cool breweries where we can try some of my favorite ciders.

God almighty is the reason I’m able to have the strength to be creative
