We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyler Pitre and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tyler, what are you inspired by?
I am inspired by others. Their lives and experiences. Hope also inspires me and keeps me moving and looking forward.

My life never settled. I moved every four years or less since my birth. I lived in and explored several countries. The plus side of this is meeting and observing other cultures. Communicating with our eyes and hands. Gesturing to build the words our different languages prevented us from doing.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My brand name is tongue in cheek, but reflective of life experience, humor and how I want to show up to the world.
RealBoringHousewife/ Authentic woman who manages a household, yet retains my sense of self and individuality.

After I left the Air Force, I dove into volunteering for the command, helping our families through deployments and some tragic circumstances.
I also wanted to share perspectives, advice and thoughts to the military family community on a wider platform. I started a blog and contributed posts to Military (dot) com.
My love for pop culture and entertainment also came into play with another blog collaboration where we’d discuss current reality shows and interview contestants.

The full scope of my brand is sharing. Sharing places to visit locally/or on the road. Sharing what life looks like for those raising young adults. Parenting is just as valid when your children are teenagers and older.
Sharing the products/services that keep our life “Boring” (running as smoothly as possible).

In a nutshell, women over 40 are a rarely tapped resource/commodity in our society. Unless it’s to discourse our aging, our body sizes, our body changes, our choices.

I’m here to show we DO enjoy loving ourselves. Loving our hobbies. We have a wealth of life experience, education and applied knowledge to still give to our communities.

Pick up my bestie at the airport with the help of Hermes Limo Worldwide. (My favorite car service for airport transfers and events).

Do a city drive while I ply her with bottles of water so she doesn’t get the elevation adjustment sickness. Pointing out the architecture, the doggos and sites of note.

The Sasquatch Outpost Museum (campy cool experience with a fantastic gift shop).

For the purposes of this space, I have to give credit and a big nod to my husband.

Our marriage is a business, frankly. And we’ve been super successful in navigating the tumultuous seas of our military careers, my medical diagnoses, long-distance communication, parenting, stress and loss.
Our story is amazing and I love knowing that it’s been a motivation to others.

I married a man secure in himself. Simply put.
