We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyler Stanfield and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tyler, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I think it chose me. I have always loved music and, everyday that I wake up and I am excited to write and perform.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a singer/songwriter/performer originally from Colorado. The definition of success is up to you individually. Is it getting your song on the radio? Is it traveling across the country performing? Is it getting that record deal you’ve always wanted? Whatever you decide your success is, always stay true to yourself, and work really hard to achieve it. Playing music definitely has its ups and downs. If you never lose your passion for it, the downs seem to hurt a lot less.

The biggest lesson I have learned in music is how small the community is and how important the people you know are! Treat people right and they will return the favor.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A week long trip in Colorado?

You gotta hike the flatirons in Boulder, catch a Rockies game at Coors Field, and have a margarita at El Karajo! Catch a local show The Studio at Mainstreet in Parker or a life changing concert at Red Rocks.
