Meet Tyren Chestnut | CEO OF GRLBSS – Founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyren Chestnut and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tyren, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I hated working corporate and teaching didn’t pay enough. I reckon being the young single flirty damsel in distress I was at the time just made sense, so when God gave me permission I said “hyfr lol”. 🙂 <3

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I want to be an amateur filmmaker and musician. I am a content creator! I love talking and for some reason people love to listen.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would start with mimosas at brunch. Next we would get cute with hair, skin, nails, and makeup. Then we would go FOB – flat on back – we can’t mess up our makeup!!! GRLBSS. After that get a light dinner. Then we would go karaoke and maybe pool or bowl. Hopefully we would do a little hot tubbing later to end the night. The next day would be a lazy day with fast food and movies! Coffee too of course and don’t forget Bible time – devotional. We would need a day of museums and sightseeing. We would need to go book shopping and thrifting as well. The last night we would go dancing!
