Hi Valerie, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
One of the best things I’ve done to succeed is simply doing what I say I will do. So many people are flaky, or cut corners. However, if you show up and deliver on the work you will do (and when you said you will do it), you earn the trust of prospects, clients, and referral partners.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Tintero Creative is a digital marketing agency, based on a comprehensive approach to online brands and growing authority. We work largely with clients for social media, but we also do a lot with original content for blogs, vlogs, copy, email marketing, and websites. I founded this agency in 2012 because I saw a huge need for reliable support in digital marketing that could move fast. Traditional agency models often had too much red tape or were used to moving slower, and in today’s world, you need to be agile. I’m proud of the quality work we provide and the comprehensive approach we bring. For example, many social media strategists don’t understand SEO or long-form content, and vice versa. Since we work in all of these mediums, we can bring a comprehensive approach to the client experience and better results all around.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We live in the outskirts of Denver Metro and LOVE it. We love going to Castlewood Canyon and doing some light hikes with views of Pikes Peak, and also doing some rock climbing. If you’re out this way too, you’ll want to stop by Adriana’s for some great Mexican food. We’d also take time to go into downtown Castle Rock to some of the local boutiques and stores like The Barn, or The Emporium.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
One of the biggest sources of encouragement to me in my professional journey has been the Colorado Women in Social Media. While the group has changed over the years, being part of this mastermind has given me a group of other female entrepreneurs to bounce ideas around with. They’ve also been a great measuring stick and unspoken source of accountability to help me level up and take my own business to the next level. Even more, since digital marketing, and social media specifically, change so fast, it has been nice to have a group where I can ask questions about recent changes and trends.
