We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria From Octavia Viajando and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victoria, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The first thing I did to be able to do what I am currently doing was to think that nothing is impossible, so I set a start date and started a planned action plan, in order to be able to work calmly, without rushing, because the work done badly sometimes costs the double. I try to plan my trips, my jobs so that they flow.

Another important factor is to work with love, trusting in your project and capabilities. It is very important to continue improving, you have to see how to differentiate your proposal from what already exists.

Finally, I think that being very insistent with my ideas, investigating, always trying to improve, being self-demanding and constant.

Meeting new people on the trip, learning from them and learning to listen is very important!

All this has helped me make my brand what it is today, still with many goals ahead of me, but working to achieve it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work currently is something that I am enjoying at the moment, creating photographic and audiovisual content in nature, I feel lucky for that. In this way I receive support from brands that support me and I can thus support entrepreneurs in the tourism industry in Chile, since we have a lot to learn and develop in the tourism area as a country, which has a high tourist value, natural, unique places in Chile. the world and that work must be done to make it sustainable over time.

I believe that the area of ecotourism is a very beautiful school, which teaches people the relationship with the land and the environment, as they discover new places, which is why I am passionate about working collaboratively in this area.

On the part of my brand, it is still in development, I have many goals that I am working towards and I hope to be able to share them with you soon.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A few weeks ago I brought my mom and then my best friend to disconnect and live the vanlife . They came to accompany me to Chilean Patagonia, the Torres del Paine and surroundings. Traveling by van is incredible, you learn a lot, you meet new people and the most important thing that I think makes the difference with staying in a hotel is that you truly connect with nature, you must adapt to the weather, the sunrise and the when night falls. It serves to connect with yourself and even better if you do it in a place as wonderful as the South of Chile. We go out in search of fauna, to try food in new places, to photograph and take walks with impressive views. Without a doubt, I think it’s a good way to disconnect and heal the soul, it’s like a therapy.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In this story there are many people who have contributed in one way or another. My family who supported me from the beginning with my ideas and projects, the brands that believed in me and supported me when I was just starting out, I will always be grateful to them like Calafate Design, Feel Free Chile, Stanley, Go Fest, Fjallraven Chile and many more. .

And most importantly, all those people who have given me a hand on the road, who have offered me a place to spend the night, who have lent me a bathroom, a shower, a warm space to spend the night, who have given me They helped me out of mechanical difficulties and those who have shown me the beauties of my country.
