Meet Zachary Booth | Musician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Zachary Booth and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Zachary, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success has been my dedication to music. Being a musician is hard enough, with little to no compensation for streams, shows, etc. As an independent artist, I rely on myself to promote my music, get interviews, and book shows. I think most people are unaware of what that looks like. It is hours and hours of emailing, researching, creating a brand, maintaining social medias, and more! I wouldn’t be where I am at right now if it weren’t for my dedication to working full time as a musician. I love what I do!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Let me start off by saying that I am eager to progress my career. I am not where I want to be yet, but I am so thankful for the process. I am so proud of setting goals for myself and hitting them! I am excited that my debut single, “Potential” has been getting some more recognition. The biggest lesson I have learned is to say yes to every opportunity. As a small artist, getting any opportunity can be huge! I like to remind myself of a great lyric from La La Land: “Someone in the crowd could be the one you need to know.” You never know who’s watching! I want the world to know that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. I know, cheesy, but it’s true. Your hard work will get you where you want to be. Believe it!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
What a fun question!
I would show them SO many food places, first and foremost!
Local places like Denver Biscuit Company, Cosmos Pizza
If they’re from a small town, Raising Canes, Maggianos. The Melting Pot.
I would definitely want to take them downtown, to see the iconic 16th street mall, and ride scooters by the river.
I currently live in DTC, so I love taking walks around there!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d love to give a shoutout to my fiancé, Lukas Ellerbrook. Lukas and I just got engaged on July 19th, in Seattle! Lukas has stuck by me through a ton of hardships. He comes to all of my shows, promotes my music, and supports my career. Dating a musician isn’t easy! Thanks for sticking with me.
