To persevere or to pivot is a question that do-ers have been asking themselves since the beginning of time. It’s never a straight road when you are doing something new, blazing a trail, breaking a ceiling, or pushing boundaries, so it’s only natural to wonder whether to give up midway. How do you know whether to keep going or to give up?

I dont think it is a matter of knowing whether or not to keep going. But more to know with in yourself that whatever the day throws at you to just keep going and always fighting back. I always look one day at a time and if that is seeming to be too hard. I cut the time down and figure how to get through tell dinner. Just believe in your self and your dreams and always reach for the stars. Read more>>

This is such a great question! I define whether to keep going (stay and persevere) or give up (move on; it is determined this is not a good fight investment) by the internal press. Holy Spirit sweetly reminds me not to quit or He simply keeps a certain level of drive/fire lit within me that I can not extinguish. I am the founder/owner of Integrity Accessories. The primary purpose of this business is making CLEAN sugar and salt scrubs for the body. They are used to exfoliate the face, hands – THE BODY. 🙂 We also make a facial spray called, The Refresher. I’m sure this question has been on thousands of small businesses around our country over the past several months. We have been pushing day after day through a global pandemic and that definitely raises a flag to potentially throw in the towel. I have been blessed through these hard times with having an amazing community support and clients out there in the world. Read more>>

I feel like giving up is not an option, if it’s something you are passionate about, it makes you happy, and you don’t go one day without thinking about it. That shows you should keep going. I feel like chasing a dream or achieving a goal can get hard and feel defeating, specially when it feels like you’re not getting the outcome you imagined right away, but it takes time, it’s a process. You should love what you’re doing while on the journey and not pressure yourself. Tell yourself your doing great, you will achieve your goal/make your dreams come true, and you will keep fighting and not give up! Read more>>

There are days I feel like giving up, but I am a strong believer in Jesus Christ, who gives me great strength every day to carry on. He has also blessed with some pretty amazing people in my life. My husband and kids play a huge part as they constantly encourage me and support me through all my craziness haha. I take a line from Shawn Mendes’ song “it isn’t in my blood to give up”, giving up isn’t an option. My one piece of advice for people is to have some great, positive people that encourage you, but also have the mindset of positivity yourself, especially these days. This was a battle in my mind for years, I’m still working on it, but I also have a passion for my career and hope to positively impact the world in some capacity. Read more>>

Growth takes effort and a lot of it. It takes you far out of your comfort zone and many people are uncomfortable with that. It’s easy to start something — but to finish it? Just look at how crowded gyms are at the beginning of January versus late February. So it’s just as easy to give up as it is to begin – or is it? I think the level of ‘skin in the game’ dramatically changes the equation to a more complex version. Anytime I’m in the consideration phase I have to ask myself – is the impetus for quitting meant to build a better future or is it to escape the present moment? I’ve been on both sides of that argument and only recently has it been the former. Most of my career I’ve at times all the time toyed with the notion of giving up. Entrepreneurship is hard.
