We asked members of the community how their organizations help the community. We’ve shared some of the responses below.

I realized early on that music without substance is stale. Not only does it lack entertainment value, but it’s unfulfilling. More importantly, however, I believe vehemently that the world deserves music that offers a positive impact. Early in the pursuit of my career, I thought about what I wanted my music to represent—what potential it has to be meaningful. With this in mind, I constituted the qualities that would act as the plinth of my music. I am a musician who practices and encourages superb communication, support for further education, the continual pursuit of self-discovery, and dignified yet compassionate honesty. I started taking pictures that were of the moment nothing planned nothing down on paper. I wanted to show the world as in through my eyes. i try to show the world that you cant always plan the prefect moment sometimes it just happens. i hope that my photos show the raw beauty of this world we live on because most of the time in front of our faces and we cant see it unless someone else shows it to us. i hope that people start seeing the true beauty and not the filtered one we live in now Read more>>

The main goals of April Adventuring are to empower and inspire folks to get outdoors more and to help protect the planet through environmental education. To me these goals go hand in hand. Jordan Long | Former Firefighter/Paramedic and Founder of Revital Colorado

Our NPO Revital Colorado brings a proactive approach to serving those who serve us. We provide platforms for connection and relationship building for firefighters, police officers, and their families. We have 10-15 outings per month where first responders can get together outside of work and enjoy the activity. We also provide couples outings, family outings, retreats and even crew building activities. All of these outings are free for first responders and their families. Read more>>
