There’s this term in sociology called the “Third Place”. Throughout human history, there have been places where humans have worked, lived, and gathered. Where we gather together is the Third Place. These third places are anchors points of community life, and foster broader and more creative interaction. Read more>>

We believe we are helping Venezuelan community who make live in Denver by giving them the access to a Venezuelan Bakery in town but at the same time so far from our country where they can feel at home. In my personal opinion, the most challenging but at the same time amazing experience is the way we can reach american lifestyle culture through food and showing the way we, Venezuelans make bakeries. Colorado is a high tourist destiny where many people from around the world come either in summer time for hiking and camping or winter time during ski season. Read more>>

Through the Women in Focus project, I serve women who have a story to tell. We empower women across their spectrum of backgrounds, fostering a strong network of entrepreneurs, artists, moms, and surivors. Through photography events, retreats, and cooperative community workshops, we encourage personal growth. Ladies share their private, intimate stories, fears, and dreams with each other, and help each other see the beauties that they are inside and out–which they, themselves, can sometimes not see. My rescue helps rescue community cats and cats around the country. I have rescued from Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Florida and Louisiana. Once they are ready, they are adopted out to wonderful families, who are so happy and blessed by their new family members. The impact on our world is to help the over population of cats, one cat family at a time. Spaying and neutering every Mom and baby prevents hundreds of more cats from being born into homelessness. My business’ foundation is completely rooted in the fact that it is earthly beneficial. For years, we have all been watching and contributing to the increase of pollution; single-use plastics, meat production, green-house gas emissions, oil spills/runoff, littering, & landfills. I’m talking specifically about discarded clothing. We know it. We’ve seen it. Fast fashion is killing the planet. Big companies produce thousands of new styles every single day- using non-recyclable material in every item. Read more>>

Real estate is so much more than buying or selling a home—it’s about guiding people through major life changes, often during emotional times. Sometimes, a move represents an exciting new beginning, but other times, it follows a loss, a divorce, or other challenges. I see it as my job to be there for my clients, not only as an expert but as someone who truly cares. I want to make their journey as smooth as possible, easing the stress and giving them confidence that they’re in good hands. Read more>>

We founded Battle Born + Co because, over the years, we’ve seen the good, the bad, and the downright challenging sides of running a business, especially in the hospitality industry. Many companies struggling today are often just a few strategic adjustments away from achieving stability and we are here to provide the support that is needed more than ever to our community. We are in the business of taking worn down or broken pieces of furniture, refinishing and restoring them back to like new condition. Often times the furniture we buy is unwanted and close to going in the landfill. With our refinishing and restoration we can give a vintage piece a new life so it can serve a purpose for another 60 or more years. The mid-century modern furniture we typically work with is such high quality wood and craftsmanship that it can be returned to its original beauty and become a heirloom piece once again. I like to think we are saving the environment one little piece of furniture at a time. Our saying at Serpentine Lines is ‘Buy Vintage or Die.’ It’s a funny way to say buy vintage to save the planet. Buy vintage to prevent more in the landfill. Read more>>
