It grew out of a place of pain and desperation, one which we knew we wanted to share and hopefully help others along the way. As someone who lost her cousin to suicide a decade prior, I finally understood, at least in part, what kind of pain someone would have to be in to consider ending it all. There are several ways that our organization is helping the world. Some are obvious; some are not so obvious.
First, the obvious: we do live theatre. As a theatre, we reflect and potentially can influence society. We confront the audience and thus society simply by showing them what’s on our minds, and we offer new perspectives. With improv, it’s always a fresh perspective.
