What are you inspired by?

One of our favorite things to do is to ask the folks we are inspired by what they are inspired by. We’ve shared some of their responses below.

Throughout my life I have met phenomenal people who have ignited a spark in me to radiate or share my inner wisdom and authenticity. My life has been blessed with extraordinary mentors, and I am grateful to have access to fabulous books that are uplifting and inspiring. The mentors who have inspired me most include my mother Carol Calkins, Rev. Vicky Jeter, Cathy Hawk from Clarity® International, and Melisa Pearce from Touched by a Horse®. What do these dynamic women have in common other than mentoring me? They see the light, wholeness, and potential in other people. They are grounded in their truth, in alignment with their values, and they inspire and lift up others to expand into greatness. Read More>>

I’m inspired by the land, the people, and the stories that shape this region. Growing up in Wolcott, I was surrounded by a rich history—one that I learned firsthand from my Papu (Greek for grandfather) as he shared memories of the land and the generations who worked it. That deep-rooted connection to this place fuels my passion every day. Read More>>

I’m endlessly inspired by the beauty nature—its vibrant flora, diverse fauna, and breathtaking landscapes naturally find their way into my jewelry designs. My clients’ stories also serve as a profound inspiration. Each jewelry piece I craft is reflective of my clients personal experiences. Through unique symbolism, motifs, and carefully selected materials, I transform these narratives into wearable art. These creations celebrate cherished memories, loved ones, passions, and histories, making each piece truly meaningful and personal. Read More>>

I’m inspired by people—their struggles, their differences, their individuality, and the beautiful diversity that shapes the world. There’s something powerful about the shared human experience, how we all navigate challenges, express ourselves in unique ways, and find meaning in our own journeys. I find inspiration in the way people turn hardships into growth, in the resilience of the human spirit, and in the endless ways we create, connect, and redefine ourselves. In many ways, my own journey—both personally and through my work—has been about finding my place within this vast, complex, and deeply inspiring world. Read More>>

I’m inspired by light, by laughter, and by movement.
There’s something so magical about watching people come alive when they’re in motion, whether it’s on their bike with a goofy grin, or a community gathering and matching each others’ energy. I love seeing people push forward and create momentum, whether that’s on two wheels, through storytelling, or just showing up for others. Read More>>
