I always focus on the value of context, especially within a creative industry – context brings objectivity to a subjective process in order to keep everyone moving with alignment. Internally, our client’s needs and goals define the context for how we approach each project. Ultimately, the work is only as good as it accomplishes the client’s goal so that serves as our north star for every decision we make along the way. Read more>>

I believe there are two things that factor into the success of our brand. One: Our customers. Our customers love our products and are extremely loyal. They also give incredible feedback. As a business owner I, believe the best think tanks are customers. They tell you clearly what they like and what they don’t, and give ideas that lead us to being the company we want to be. The key is to really listen to this feedback and continue to grow, expand and become better. Read more>>

The most important factor that I believe drives my success as an artist has to be the community that I am so blessed to surround myself with. By community, I mean my family of friends and other co-collaborators that fuel my fire. I absolutely love what I do for a living, I’ve known at least what direction I wanted to go in since I was in grade school. Today looking back, the passion I had only increased with age. It encourages me to do the best that I can and to do better every time. Read more>>

Being able to offer unique handmade, customized items is a tangible representation of how we strive to create personal, meaningful, impactful relationships. That is where our true success comes from, being able to form personal connections with individuals whether it be the local who is a frequent visitor, the traveler, or the creators and makers we have the opportunity to cross paths with either for business or for growth. I think the most important factor behind my success is actually just showing up as my self, as corny as it sounds. I spent my whole life trying to be “likable”, to be attractive, to fit in and be what other (boring) people wanted me to be. As a woman in my mid-thirties I ain’t got time for that anymore. My business card says that I make “weird art for weird people” and I stand by that. People appreciate and gravitate towards authenticity, and I think my art is a reflection, in some ways, of me finally stepping into my true self. Read more>>
