What makes you happy? Why?

We regularly ask our interviewees what makes them happy because at the end of the day, what else really matters? We’ve highlighted some of the responses below.

The most important happiness in my life stems from the love I have for my son, my family, the team of creative and talented people I work with, and the students I have the pleasure and the opportunity to teach and work with on a very personal level. There are a lot of things that make me happy, but if I were to narrow it down to things that make me the happiest – moments where i feel the most joy, it’s when i am out in nature, hiking & exploring landscapes, watching how the light creates different effects on that landscape and being able to capture that in such a way that evokes a feeling of awe; Read more>>

When it comes to flowers, everything about them makes me happy!! What I enjoy most is having the creativity to bring my clients’ individual vision to life.

Photography has been a source of happiness for me ever since I first picked up a camera. I love everything about the process from searching for a subject to editing the fine details of the image on my laptop. I feel that photography pushes one outside their comfort zone and exposes them to the raw beauty of the world around them.
