I grew up in a very southern town in Florida, and we didn’t have a lot of money growing up so I had to entertain myself in simple, inexpensive ways like playing make-believe. I think that taught me resourcefulness and creativity, plus how to be comfortable being in charge of myself. When I finally got my first camera, I remember taking pictures and video of EVERYTHING so I quickly learned what seemed to work well and what didn’t.
