I have a tendency toward all or nothing thinking – if I’m not going all-in, all the time, I convince myself that what I’m doing doesn’t count, which can get pretty toxic pretty fast. Corey Clark | Impact Consultant focuses on B Corp

I have to be much more deliberate in scheduling both work and life. I put classes I enjoy and fun events I see on my calendar so that meetings are not booked over that time. I also take half days off if I don’t have meetings for a four hour stretch. When life is scheduled in, I have to consciously move or delete it and be ok with it. It is way harder to add life to your calendar once the week starts then to have time already set aside and be able to move it around. Read more>>

In the beginning of my career, I didn’t focus on balance. I tended to overwork and grind for hours and weeks at a time. As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized how crucial that balance is.
