We had the good fortune of connecting with Victor Teran and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victor, what role has risk played in your life or career?
We have all heard it before, one point or another that “You cannot get anywhere in life, without taking risks”. I am an entrepreneur, and as many we have failed, we have seen fruitful rewards, and we have learned from experience – That is all thanks to risks!

I am always thinking of ways to make things better with my businesses and life. I am who I am because of the discipline, the value of hard work through martial arts, and later reinforced in the United States Marine Corps.

When I decide to do something with my business(es), I weigh in the positives and negatives. When I have come to a conclusion, the answer will be either Yes or No. There is NEVER a maybe!

If you want to be successful, then you have to jump and take those risks. Be flexible, learn from those mistakes, make corrections and try again!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Founder of RDX Supplements – I’ve always had this dream of owning my own sports supplements. This idea generated about 3 years ago, when I was an ambassador for a supplement company, as well as competing to become a sponsored athlete.

I have always been active and into fitness and feel that those experiences have brought me to where I am today. RDX Supplements is Veteran-Owned by two combat veterans. Serving a total of 10.5 years in the Middle East with the Military, Private Security Contractor and with the Federal Government, providing Diplomatic Security to all U.S. Diplomats and Foreign Dignitaries.

Since we are combat veterans, it is ideal to name our supplement company RDX. You are probably asking what is RDX? Here is what you need to know – “Royal Demolition eXplosive” is a very powerful eXplosive. It can be mixed with oils, waxes or other eXplosive compounds to make munitions.

As a sports supplement company, we always strive to give you the very best and most potent products in the market. As a combat veteran and active gym rat, I know what benefits I am looking for in a supplement (i.e., Pre-workout), in order to give us that edge and push in the gym.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are several places I do enjoy a sit-down lunch. The new Bluegrass – Candelas in Arvada. Hoffbrau in Westminster. Both are kid friendly. Good food. Great ambiance. Great staff and good drinks.

There are plenty of hiking trails like Ralston Creek and Lookout Mountain.

If you are looking for activities to do with family and friends, I would suggest Archery games in Denver. Flannel Jacks (Axe throwing), a walk around the Historic Olde Town Arvada.

If you’re looking to get a workout during your stay. I would suggest the International Taekwon-Do Academy (Self-Defense. Ground and Stand-Up. Bootcamp. Heavy bag and Pad work).
