Meet Celeste Ryane | Intuitive Empath, Hypnotherapist and Therapist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Celeste Ryane and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Celeste, what principle do you value most?
This is a great question. I actually live my life by a few principles, such as integrity, kindness and service to others. One of my favorite principles I try to live by, however, is courage. So what does this look like for me? Back in June of this year I decided to relocate to the Denver, Colorado area from Southern Oregon. I had moved to Oregon from Indianapolis, IN in 2011, but earlier this year circumstances came about to cause me to reflect on what I wanted my life to look like going forward. Just like many folks, the Covid Quarantine of 2020 narrowed my life down to such a small degree that I found myself pretty isolated and alone. Although I continued to meet with my clients, in my personal life I was bored and lonely. I actually ended up reading lots of Harry Potter fanfiction.
During this life review, I decided that I needed to move out of my comfort zone and do things differently. Although I only knew a few people in Colorado, I decided I wanted to move to Denver and enjoy being in a big city again, with all the many experiences it had to offer. I have not been disappointed, by Denver or my decision to relocate here.
After my move, I decided to work towards focusing my private practice on the spiritual side of my offerings. I think this is where I have had to dig deep into practicing courage. According to the dictionary, the definition of courage is the ability to do something that frightens one. The older I become the more I realize that courage is actually a daily practice. Its a process whereby I allow myself to feel the fear that may rise to the surface, and then choose to follow through on my goals anyway. Some days may be harder than others, but ultimately, life is about moving forward. Courage allows me to do so.

What should our readers know about your business?
Although I have had a private practice since 2018, I established Blue Owl Healing LLC in 2020. The original focus was on offering mental health therapy and trauma work. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by profession and have been in the field since 2005; however, I am also an intuitive empath and an hypnotherapist specializing in past life regressions. The spiritual work is where my true passion lies. Over time I have merged my experiences in trauma work with the other tools of being a therapist, and carry those skills into my spiritual work. I think I’m most proud of this accomplishment.
Every human has a higher self, whether they are aware of it or not. Unless a person meditates or has done work on themselves though counseling or shamanic work, they may feel disconnected from their higher self. My job is to assist and guide my clients to reconnect with their higher selves through hypnosis via my past life regressions. Although I have training in both QHHT (created by Dolores Cannon) and BQH (created by Candance Craw-Goldman), and offer these past life regression techniques through my services, I have created my own past life regression technique that also allows the client to access their inner wisdom. My hope is that they will take away from their experience with me the ability to recognize what it feels like for them to be connected with their higher self. My desire is that this will encourage my clients to move towards seeking the answers to their questions from within themselves.
As we walk through life, all of us at some point have struggled with challenges that overwhelm us, or we have become stuck. Through my spiritual coaching services and my soul readings I help my clients identify these blocks and blind spots so they can start leading a more authentic life. We also look at patterns and conditioning that may have started in childhood, maybe they’re trauma responses, and I guide clients through diving into their feelings, experiencing them, processing them, releasing and then integrating those feelings. I feel that it’s through love and acceptance of ourselves that true healing can occur.
It has taken me years to get where I am today. My intuitive gifts came strongly online in 2013, but its only now that I feel that I am ready to step out into the world with my spiritual offerings as the main focus of my private practice. People can be afraid of what they don’t understand. Sometimes this lack of understanding has caused others to fear me and my gifts. Going against the disapproval from others has been one of my biggest challenges in the past. That time is over. I am truly excited to bring my brand of services to the Denver area.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Since I have only been here for about three months I’m not sure if I have explored enough of the Denver area to be the best judge of what my favorite areas are yet. However, when I first visited Denver prior to moving here, I stayed in a condo in the Highland area. I found it to be a very walkable area. In fact, I walked to the condo from Union Station. The weather was just starting to warm up, so I walked everywhere. I loved that everyone was outside walking their dogs. Even stopped by Little Man’s Ice Cream. Yum!
I have been lucky enough to try out some wonderful restaurants since moving here. The Barcelona Wine Bar, was hopping on a Wednesday. Atmosphere and food was great and lots of fun. The Humboldt Kitchen and Bar was excellent too. The food was delicious.
I walked through the RiNo district just last week and LOVED the many different murals. In fact, one of the first things I noticed after I moved here were all the many beautiful murals that are, literally, everywhere. So many exceptional artists.
Of course, as an intuitive, when my psychic medium friend, Kim Allen, came to visit we went to Cheesman Park. Its considered the most haunted park in Denver. We found it to definitely be haunted and, between the two of us, picked up many different energies and spirits. Washington Park, however, is probably one of my favorites. Just sitting by the water was incredibly peaceful.
I look forward to exploring more of this city and all it has to offer.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Wow! This is great! Yes, I have been blessed with a strong network of kindred spirits in my life…my tribe of amazing women. Unfortunately, most of my tribe of women live far from me. Thank the Goddess for the phone, Facetime and the Marco Polo app! My two biggest supporters are my seriously artistic friend, Sarah Kennah, who is also very intuitive and “witchy” (her words), and my friend, Kim Allen, an incredibly talented psychic medium. Without these two women in my corner, I would have lost my cookies a long time ago. I’m not going to lie, relocating half way across the country with my dog and cat, moving from an 1100 sq ft house to a small 640 sq ft apartment, and rebranding my business has been amazing, and scary and challenging and fun, and did I mention scary? These two women, along with my other friends, have reminded me of my goals, kept me grounded and made me laugh. I couldn’t have done it without them. I’m so happy they are in my corner.
Next, I’d like to mention a new friend I made soon after I moved to Denver. I had scheduled a massage with Cassandra Hildago, with Hands That Heal You. We got to talking and realized that we are kindred spirits. She offered me office space to rent, which has been a real gift. Not only is the office space amazing, but she is an excellent massage therapist and hypnotherapist herself. Her kindness in opening herself and her space to me is a true kindness, and I’m blessed to know her.
Finally, I want to mention my dear friend, Natasha Rigg. I have known Natasha for about 30 years. We recently connected again after I moved here to Denver. She lives in Boulder with her family and is the wonderful photographer who took the photos for this article. Her company is called Heirloom Films and Photography. She is a truly kind and generous human, and I’m lucky to have reconnected with her.
