We had the good fortune of connecting with Priyanka & Pranjal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Priyanka & Pranjal, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
After exploring many beautiful places, we wanted to share our journey through our videos and photos. And this is what we want our legacy to be. We would like people to remember us as travel content creators who inspire them to travel and discover new destinations. And for that, we are working on our Travel Blog & YouTube Channel @Mrnmrstraveler.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We both are passionate travelers and recently I (Priyanka) decided to take a leap of faith and have started to work full time as a travel content creator focussing on Youtube, Instagram and our blog – @mrnmrstraveler. I am really excited about this journey and waiting to see where this is gonna take us. For anyone who is looking to be a content creator, two things are really important : being consistent in content creation and learning about the skills to do it. This is something which I am also trying to do.

Pranjal works in the IT field as a Software Engineer full time. So, we travel on national holidays, weekends and with time offs from work. In short, juggling between work & travel.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First, we would take our friends around Jersey city where we currently reside – Starting the day with a walk along the Hudson River near Exchange place overlooking the beautiful Manhattan skyline. It’s an amazing place to hang out with a coffee and a sandwich preferably from Semicolon Cafe. We would also take them to Razza Pizza – voted as one of the best pizzas in the entire USA. Another place we would take our friends in Jersey City is the Indian street in Journal Square to try some amazing Indian cuisine.

After that we would take a short train ride to New York City. A weekend highlight would be visiting World Trade Center station, Wall Street, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, Empire State Building, Times Square (even though it’s crowded its a bucket list for every one visiting NYC for the first time), Edge, 5th Avenue for shopping and if we can squeeze in a ferry ride to Statue of Liberty. To eat, we would definitely recommend trying New York style pizza from Joe’s pizza, Chicken over rice from Halal guys, Banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery, Bagels from Absolute Bagels, Tacos from Taco No 1 (Times square or Chelsea Market).

If they want to escape the city we will take them either to Delaware Gap Area which has good hiking trails such as Mount Tammany or the Adirondack Region (Lake Placid or Lake George).

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
It might sound cliché but we would like to dedicate this to both our mothers, who have always been really supportive of us in everything we do. They are the best!
