Meet Zero Proof Life

We had the good fortune of connecting with the coaches at the Zero Proof Life and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Karla, Christy, Carolyn, Becca, and Brandi, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
After going alcohol free ourselves and coaching thousands of others through it, we recognized a need for navigating life alcohol-free and the importance of having a safe community to do that exploration within. We realized we had created something special with our group of coaching friends and how important it was to our own personal growth, and we wanted to provide a space like that for others to grow and thrive.

What should our readers know about your business?
The Zero Proof Life was born of the need to close the gap between surviving the choice not to drink alcohol and thriving in an alcohol-free life. We do not require our members to be alcohol-free; we only ask that they desire to make alcohol small and irrelevant.
The community we are creating is one based on self-compassion and curiosity. Our Zero Proof Life Compass guides us as we explore our authentic selves. The people we are meant to be without alcohol clouding our vision. Our compass asks us to examine our lives through four areas; body, heart, mind, and soul.
From a business standpoint, we have worked hard to create a safe space for this self-exploration while maintaining our desire to remain alcohol-free. We are open to pivoting to meet the needs of our community as we all learn and grow together.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Denver and the surrounding area has grown and changed so much. We really do have everything here from the amazing cultural arts, top notch restaurants and of course, our incredible outdoor playground! My go-to spots when people are visiting would be hiking Chautauqua in Boulder followed by lunch on Pearl Street. In Denver, I love to take people to Red Rocks and the surrounding area. Some other favorites are the Clyfford Still Museum and Meow Wolf. A visit wouldn’t be complete without eating at Sushi Den and a walk around Wash Park!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We all met through an organization, This Naked Mind, where we learned how to coach others around their relationship with alcohol. Through this training we all had the honor of meeting and growing together and for some of us, it’s also how we quit drinking ourselves. So it holds a special place in our hearts and we wouldn’t be here, in this place now, without it.
