Meet Jaia Shaw | Mindless Vitalitys Manager

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaia Shaw and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jaia, what do you attribute your success to?
The true commitment that there is in the band, from the very start there has been heart, blood, and soul poured into every performance, every song made, and every song recorded and it shows when they play live. The personal commitment I’ve personally seen from these guys has led me to believe that this music needs to be shared and loved by the masses. The amount of times I’ve seen fans, audience members and other bands come up to my guys to complement them on their sound has floored me and all of that is due to their commitment to their sound and their message.

What do you attribute to Mindless Vitality’s success too?
Mindless Vitality is a Alt-Rock band from Colorado Springs. Mindless Vitality puts out a very high energy performance that gets the crowd engaged and has them talking about the band after they’re done playing. Were all currently excited about our upcoming tour to L.A in the month of May. They have always been prepared to show the crowd who they are and what their sound is and so far the the crowd feedback has been positive. It hasn’t always been easy for the guys they’ve felt that people have underestimated them and they’re sound until recently. When people underestimated them and believed that they wouldn’t be able to put on a hell of a show they brought their best to prove them and show the crowd that they’re a band to be remembered. They’ve learned that staying humble to yourself and each-other is something to not forget and loose sight of. Everything that we put out has their heart and message behind it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Monday: The melting pot and Super Nova Tuesday:The Penny Arcade, the Incline Mother Muffs
Wednesday;Garden of the Gods and cruse around old Colorado City
Thursday:Art walks downtown and Bonnie and Read Seafood
Friday: The Shrunken Head Tiki bar and a Show at the Black Sheep
Saturday:Coati and another show at Legends Rock bar
Sunday:Wind down with with a mall/ shopping trip

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Jimi Hendrix was a main inspiration when it comes to Joseph Nutter our lead singer/lead guitarist. Hendrix was one of the musicians that made Joseph realize that music was a life path that he wanted to take and master.
