We had the good fortune of connecting with Meranda Vieyra and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Meranda, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I think the most important factor behind my success is resilience. I have learned how to recover quickly as a business owner, especially as a small business owner. There are kinks in the process and forks in the road all the time – the only thing that you can control is how you react to these circumstances.

I think my resilient mindset is contagious and helps my clients when we are working through their business’ changes, crises, etc.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I own Denver Legal Marketing. My company is small but mighty just like I am.

I am proud to say that I am the most visible law firm marketing and business development professional in the Mountain West. I have a current book contract pending with the American Bar Association on solo and small law firm business development. I also wrote and taught the first class in the country at the undergraduate level on law firm marketing – at MSU Denver, my alma mater. I am proud of everything that I have accomplished in the last 8 years.

I sincerely doubt that business ownership is easy for everyone. But for me it has been a long journey from start-up to success that I have enjoyed with my husband and two daughters rooting for me every step of the way.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband, Gordon, has been more than my rock in my entrepreneurship journey. He has been with me since day one providing support, encouragement and mentorship. I rest on him for everything from advice and counsel to providing caring support when I am struggling with an issue.
