Hi jody, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
It’s fun! Starting a creative career has always been a natural choice for me—it’s more than just a profession; it’s a passion. For those of us inclined towards creativity, there’s a need to constantly nourish that creative spark within us. With 20+ years of experience in the field of graphic design, I’ve witnessed firsthand the evolution of computer graphics and its impact on visual communication. From crafting intricate business cards to designing captivating gaming manuals, each project feels like a journey fueled by imagination.

But, as technology and trends continue to change, I’ve recognized the importance of adapting and evolving along with them. This realization led me to explore the realm of social media content creation—a platform that blends my love for creativity with the opportunity to succeed in the digital landscape. Transitioning into this space allows me to leverage my skills and expertise to craft engaging content while also offering a pathway to monetize my passion. Ultimately, pursuing an artistic career isn’t just about the work; it’s about embracing the joy of creativity and finding fulfillment in every thing I do.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What I’m most proud of is transforming my hobby into something more. It’ hasn’t been easy. Balancing a regular job while pursuing my passion meant long nights spent crafting content, only to rise early and do it all over again. But, the journey has been rewarding. Collaborating with my dream brands has been a surreal experience!

Through this journey, I’ve learned that success is seldom handed to you on a silver platter; it’s forged through self-belief and dedication. Challenges are inevitable, but I’ve come to realize that it’s not about avoiding them, but rather about how we navigate through them. Choosing to find joy in the process has been a crucial lesson to me.

My story is a testament to the power of perseverance and passion. Every day presents new opportunities, and I’m constantly fueled by the excitement of what tomorrow may bring.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Living on the Jersey Shore offers a lot of awesome experiences, especially with the beach just a stone’s throw away. For a trip, I’d start by treating my friends to a meal at my favorite spot, MJ’s in Bayville. There’s something incredibly serene about dining outside, eating delicious food while listening to the crashing of waves. The ambiance there is unbeatable!

Next stop, a nearby beach, which is my personal sanctuary where I find solace in sinking my toes into the sand. It’s my form of therapy, a moment to connect with nature and unwind.

Throughout the week, the options for exploration are boundless along the Jersey Shore. From charming coastal towns to vibrant boardwalks and scenic parks, there’s something for every mood and interest. Whether it’s indulging in fresh seafood at local eateries, catching a sunset by the water, or simply walking along the shoreline, every moment promises an unforgettable experience.

I’d love to extend a heartfelt shoutout to the incredible people who have been pillars of support throughout my journey. I am so grateful for the friends & family who have stood by my side, believing in my dreams even when the path seemed hard and daunting. Their encouragement and belief in my potential have been a constant source of inspiration, helping me move forward even in the face of challenges (and there have been many). I am eternally grateful for their unwavering support and belief in me.
