Meet Tacarra Ingram | Licensed Clinical Social Worker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tacarra Ingram and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tacarra, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was based on the impact I know I can have on the lives of others, without limits. Starting my own business has allowed me to follow my passion and support others in following theirs.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I think my passion and drive set me apart from others. I take pride in my service and I’m excited about the continued growth in my business and professional life.
My willingness to learn, ask questions, and try new things have helped me to get this far. This journey, both personally and professionally has been very difficult; with many losses and setbacks and honestly, some days I still have doubts that I’m on the right track.
I’ve learned throughout this journey that you have to fight for what you want and that everyone will not understand your vision. Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone or go back to the drawing board.
I’m very passionate about my profession. Having the ability to provide support, guidance, and resources to others bring me great joy. I look forward to working with the next group of business owners and social workers.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
That’s a tough one. I’m such a homebody, however, I do love to eat. Ramen is one of my favorite dishes so definitely Iso Iso Ramen. I also follow a lot of food social media accounts so I would check out Raleigh Food Trap to see some of their suggestions. Downtown Raleigh and Downtown Durham always have something exciting going on. We could check out a food truck rodeo, museum, and/or live concert.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate my shoutout to all of my family and friends who have and who continue to support my dream. My support system has provided me so much encouragement and love throughout my career. Their faith and belief in my talents and vision and helped me to continue taking on new challenges and experiences.
