We had the good fortune of connecting with Zo 303 and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zo, why did you pursue a creative career?
At first I was more into American Football and Basketball, but that didn’t go the best my last two years of high school. So the only other thing I loved besides those was music. Back then I would listen to a lot of music but never thought about trying it until my senior year. I dropped my first song called “Izak Freestyle” and a lot of people liked it, and that made me believe that I can actually go far with making music.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I feel like what sets me apart from others is my versatility and how real I am in my music. I just prefer to talk about things I’ve experienced or went through instead of saying things just to be cool or fit in. I’m most proud of myself because of how much I’ve grown, and I’m excited to see how much more I’m going to grow and how my music will sound in the future. I got to where I am today by not giving up, having people supporting me, and from learning/ improving my skills. Just like with anything in life, there’s going to be ups and downs. On my bad days I just do my best to keep a positive mindset, I figure out what I’m doing that’s not good for me or isn’t helping me grow and vice versa, and then I do my best to work on those problems so I can get back focused on what I’m trying to accomplish. Lessons I’ve learned on my journey are how important consistency is, how it’s important to keep everything peaceful and positive like your mental, the people around you, etc. and that you never know until you try. I want the world to know that being yourself while doing what you want to do is the best way to do it, I want to show when I make it that it is possible and I want to give people hope that they can do it too, and last I want to show the world that there still is real ones out here.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well to start off, food wise I would take them to my favorite spot called Bourbon Grill. We could go see a Broncos or Nuggets game, I would bring them to see/ hang out with my family and our friends. If there’s an artists that we like coming in town we would go to a concert. We can go to any of the malls out here or maybe somewhere fun like Boondocks or 1Up Arcade.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shout out to my family, all of my close brothers and sisters that’s basically family (y’all know who y’all are), any artists, videographer, or interviewer that’s been apart of the journey so far, and of course anybody that genuinely supports me.
