We had the good fortune of connecting with Cynthia Giannini and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cynthia, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My vision is to create a space, a performance, a community infused with the love of the arts and wellness.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Currently, I am focusing on producing honest, provocative and compelling storytelling by engaging the senses, through music, dance, narrative, lighting and other visual mediums.

I believe what sets me apart from others is my team of creatives that have found each other and have been working together to make some unforgettable impermanent exhibitions in live art performances.

I am excited to continue working on my tango show. We recently brought our first preview and concept show to the Denver Fringe Festival.

I now can see where to deepen the story, choreography and design for our upcoming performances at the Ellie Caulkins Studio Loft this December 27th 28th and 29th.

I enjoy creative challenges and know that the journey is worth the hard work and perseverance if you can dream it, believe in it and begin to see it take shape.
I asked a friend once, how he had confidence in his entrepreneurial abilities.

His answer was simple, he said, “You know you must do it when you can’t not”

I have learned that this life is what we make of it. We have undetermined time to create something meaningful to pass to the generations that follow. We must try our best to make a positive impact in whatever we do. Each of us can make a difference and collectively change our reality.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love the mountains so I would take them for a hike in Evergreen where I happily lived for many years, raising my family.
I would bring them to the RiNo arts district for some great shopping and dining and Jazz music at “Nocturne”
If they danced tango, I would invite them out for a week of social tango happenings at our current Intimo Tango location.
Live music and First Friday art walks would be a must.
The museums and Meow Wolf are not to miss.
I would also plan to see a show at the Denver Arts Complex where you can see the ballet, Broadway shows, comedy, symphony and hopefully soon, our tango show!

Denver is great for sports enthusiasts as well. All depends on the visitor and the season.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents deserve a shout out for allowing me, at an early age, to reach for my dreams.

My first mentor and ballet teacher guided me on a journey of inclusivity and acceptance and was able to cultivate excellence in a most challenging dance training experience with his devotion and commitment to his students.

My director Robert Joffrey, taught me impeccable technique, exquisite taste, attention to detail and commitment to his Company.
