Meet Kayleigh Connroy | Hairstylist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kayleigh Connroy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kayleigh, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe the most important factors are passion and drive in whatever you do. If you love what you do, you will be successful. I’m a hairdresser of 13 years and still love it. I love making people look and feel their best and with that I am able to build strong and trusting relationships with my clients. Education is also key when it comes to success behind my brand. Staying up to date on the newest trends is essential for my professional growth and allows me to always give my clients my best work.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As mentioned previously I started my career as an assistant and have worked my way up. It took many years of hard work and dedication to get to the place I am today but it was absolutely worth it! I hope to continue to take my experience and what I have learned and pass it on to the next future stylists who is first stepping into the beauty industry. Helping build their confidence and knowledge of the business and watching them grow into their own brand is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I started my career as an assistant and worked alongside several talented stylists many whom I still work with today! Without their guidance, support, and inspiration I would not be where I am today! My husband Sean Connroy was also a huge part to the start of my career. He has always been so supportive and believed in me when I thought my goals were unattainable. I’m also fortunate to have a big family who have also supported my dreams and helped me get to where I am today.
