Hi Anastasiia, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I began creating videos on my phone and quickly developed a strong passion for it. After a year of hesitation, I decided to invest in a camera, which marked the start of my journey into photography and videography. My thought process involved recognizing my deep interest in visual storytelling and the potential to turn it into a business. I researched the market, identified opportunities, and made the commitment to upgrade my equipment to enhance the quality of my work. This decision set me on the path to developing my own business in this field

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My work as a photographer and videographer focuses on capturing authentic moments. What sets me apart is my commitment to genuine storytelling and my passion for highlighting the unique qualities of each scene. Starting with just a phone and eventually investing in my first camera, I navigated challenges with learning new skills and building my portfolio. I’m particularly proud of how I pursued my dream of creating music videos, despite being scared initially. My first attempt, although marked by many imperfections, turned out quite well and became easier over time. Each mistake has been a valuable learning opportunity, reinforcing my belief that growth comes from overcoming errors. Through perseverance and the support of my family and friends, I’ve grown professionally and learned the importance of patience and staying true to my creative vision.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting and I wanted to show them an unforgettable time, I’d plan a long trip across some of the most stunning places I’ve explored in the USA: Cali, Colorado, and Utah.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am incredibly thankful to my family – my parents, sister, and close friends. Their unwavering support, love, and encouragement, as well as their belief in me, have been essential throughout my journey. I truly appreciate everything they’ve done to help me along the way
