We had the good fortune of connecting with Laura Oswald and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Laura, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I enjoy the freedom and flexibility of owning my own business, which allows me to be more present for myself and my family.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am most proud of how I have continued seeking support in difficult times. I am proud of my entrepreneurial spirit and desire to continue learning and evolving. It has not been easy, and being where I am now feels like an incredible gift. I have never been one to settle or give up, and that drive and desire to grow has gotten me to where I am now. I am proud of having an open heart and willingness to look outside the box. For me, there is no right or wrong and no timeline on this journey. Every day, I consciously choose to focus on the present moment and remain committed to staying in a space of trust, surrender, and acceptance. I want the world to know that I have chosen this career path because it makes my soul sing. I am passionate and dedicated to my work and know that all I have been through has led me to this moment where I can share my wisdom, gifts, and experience with others.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had a friend visiting, we would head up the Poudre Canyon for a hike and a show at The Mishawaka. We would go to The Regional or Little On The Mountain for dinner in FOCO. We would definitely go to the farmers’ market to get yummy ingredients to cook at home, and chilling by the fire would be another to-do on the list, along with a trip to Steamboat or Estes Park!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout goes to a wonderful organization in my town called the Be Free Healing Center!
