Meet Morgan Siekman | Abstract Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Morgan Siekman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Morgan, why did you pursue a creative career?
I began pursuing art as a career with MorganSiekmanArt because I’ve always been captivated by the world around me and how I could express it creatively. As a child, I would sit in the car and imagine drawing everything I saw, and I loved spending time outside coloring with chalk. Over time, I discovered my passion for abstract painting, where blending colors and creating rich textures brings me the greatest joy. Now, my favorite aspect of my work is incorporating texture into each piece, making it uniquely vibrant.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart as an artist is my deep connection to the emotions and textures in my work. From a young age, I’ve been captivated by how colors and textures interact, and that’s become a defining feature of my art. I’m most proud of how I’ve turned my lifelong passion for creativity into MorganSiekmanArt, where I get to share my love for abstract art with the world. It definitely wasn’t an easy path—I’ve faced moments of self-doubt, but with the support of loved ones and mentors I’ve been able to grow.

One key lesson I’ve learned along the way is the importance of perseverance and trusting the process. Every challenge has taught me to be patient, and that growth doesn’t happen overnight. Through each obstacle, I’ve become more confident in my art and more connected to the vision of my brand.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand, MorganSiekmanArt, is that it’s not just about creating visually striking pieces—it’s about bringing emotions, textures, and layers to life. My art is a reflection of my journey, and I’m excited to continue sharing that with others who can connect with it on their own terms.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d want to give them a true Colorado experience! We’d start in downtown Denver, grabbing lunch at Union Station to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and delicious food options. Afterward, we’d take a scenic drive to the mountains—maybe stop for a hike or head to Georgetown for the Georgetown Loop train ride.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A huge shoutout to my amazing parents for always supporting me in every dream I pursue, no matter how big or small. Your unwavering belief in me has meant the world and given me the strength to follow my passions. And to Yusef Aduan, thank you for always being by my side, pushing me to step outside my comfort zone and encouraging me to grow. I’m so grateful to have you all in my corner!
