Meet Megan Pham | Family Nurse Practitioner, Aesthetic Medicine

We had the good fortune of connecting with Megan Pham and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Megan, what matters most to you?
It’s difficult for me to choose just one value/principle; but if I had to choose it would have to be integrity and safety. As an injector, ensuring patient safety while delivering the best results is of the utmost importance to me. Being someone who has went to school for years to educate herself and change the lives of others, I find great happiness and satisfaction when seeing my patients leave my chair feeling more confident. Furthermore, just knowing that they came in with a certain standard of expectations and leaving with those expectations exceeded because of my integrity as an injector brings great satisfaction.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
At a very young age, I knew I wanted to be a nurse, this was a result of my grandfathers unexpected hospitalization in high school. Throughout the months I visited him, I got to witness the care and love that nurses put into each patient, further solidifying my determination to be a nurse. It has been a constant hustle for me since undergrad to finishing my masters the last 8 years. I would pull 24 hour days from working night shifts at the hospital to a full day at the med spa. I didn’t care that I ran off little sleep if I did what I love that’s all that matters. It wasn’t easy but nothing we want in life ever comes easy and it has been worth it. As a nurse practitioner now, I have found a sense of comfort in knowing I can provide even more for my patients. In a way, I feel connected to them even more now as they have healed me in a way I could never imagine. I feel so blessed that I am able to see the fruits of my labor every single day. This is not just a job for me, but a passion and I can’t help but feel emotional thinking about the journey that it took to get here, and the journey ahead.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Red rocks concert is one place one should experience in Colorado because the views never get old.
I would definitely take them to Temaki Den or Sushi Den! Their sushi never fails and is good every time.
Avanti, Denver milk market, and Stanley markets are some places for great drinks. For my wine drinkers, Postinos is a must.
Little Man’s Ice cream in LoHi is a must stop by area (space junkie is my favorite).

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My close family, friends, and significant other. Without them supporting my dreams and career I wouldn’t be where I am today.
