Meet Rosy Foster | Event Producer, Founder: Marc&Rose Event Co.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rosy Foster and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rosy, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
When it comes to taking risks- I am a firm believer that they are essential to the becoming of your person. To take a risk is to push beyond the boundaries of the “known” and the “comfortable” and risks help us uncover versions of ourselves that we would other wise not know.
Taking risks has always been in my nature. I’ve always been eager and curious to see places that have never been shown to me- to uncover that that has yet to be uncovered. Taking risks has helped me overcome one of my greatest life obstacles: fear.
As a once solo entrepreneur and a former single mother, and a first born child of immigrants, risks have always been a part of my journey. The greatest rewards I’ve received in life have always come from taking a risk- whether it was leaving my secure corporate job + salary to purse a vision, deciding that I would work as hard as it could to give my child a stable life, to being 8 years old at my mothers doctors appointment as her translators and hoping to God that I was relaying all the information correctly. Every barrier that I’ve surpassed lied on the other side of a risk.
Risks arise from a vision or a dream- a fragment of an idea that you can achieve or be something that you have never known to be done, or perhaps seen it modeled. While navigating risks is never a linear route- they have certainly built my tenacity as a woman. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the countless occasions I’ve had to look failure in the eye and still keep going, but every failure has brought me closer to my victories.
To practice taking risks is both a discipline and self love. It is having the inner strength and being rooted in grounded in faith. It is learning to be unmoveable and unshakable and accepting that faith without works is dead. To anyone reading this and feeling like it resonates and made you think of the idea, vision or business model you’ve had in mind for a while, I would encourage you to take that leap, do your research and take the risk!

What should our readers know about your business?
Marc&Rose is a premier full-service event planning company based in Denver, Colorado. With a passion for creating unforgettable moments, Marc&Rose provides expert event planning solutions across the US!
At Marc&Rose Event Co., we don’t just plan events—we curate intentional experiences that reflect the stories, values, and cultures of the people we serve. As a woman-owned, faith-rooted event production company, we are passionate about creating meaningful celebrations that are as diverse, vibrant, and multifaceted as the communities we represent.
What sets us apart is our heart for service and our deep understanding of intersectionality. We celebrate people from all walks of life—uplifting women, honoring cultural traditions, and designing events that feel true to who our clients are. Whether we’re producing an elegant wedding in the Colorado mountains, a retirement celebration for a beloved faculty member, or a soulful quinceañera, we lead with love, intention, and professionalism.
I’m most proud of the trust our clients place in us. They invite us into some of the most sacred chapters of their lives, and it’s an honor we don’t take lightly. We’re known for our calm energy, clear communication, and creative vision—and for making people feel seen and celebrated.
Getting here wasn’t easy. Like many small business owners, especially women of color, I faced challenges that demanded grit, grace, and growth. There were seasons I carried the weight of the business alone, learning by doing and trusting that passion and purpose would guide me. Over time, I built a team, refined our systems, and grounded our work in something bigger than ourselves: service.
We believe that in all things, we serve with love. That’s the heartbeat of Marc&Rose. Our events are more than just beautiful—they’re bridges. They bring people together, honor legacy, and leave lasting joy. This is our calling, and it’s only the beginning.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When anyone I love comes into Denver- this is what I am always eager to share!
I am always in the mood for an outdoorsy adventure- whether that’s a scenic drive to Iron Mountain Springs in Glenwood Springs, soaking all day, Margs and Mexican food for dinner, followed by a comfy stay at Hotel Colorado to then visiting Glenwood Springs Adventure Park.
If that’s too far- then I love taking guest to my favorite wing place in Aurora which I frequent weekly, then maybe a visit to the Cherry Creek reservoir or finding the perfect rooftop to catch the sunset with my favorite drink. No matter the time of the year- I always want to be in a pool and drinking my favorite boba from Snowl.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost I need to shoutout my Maker & Ruler who knitted the inner most parts of me! Next-my parents- Hector & Luz who worked tirelessly and always pushed me to “greater”. I’d love to shoutout my life partner, who day in and day out helps regulate my mind, my thoughts- which is where everything flows from! I’d love to shoutout Hope City Church who serves as a beacon of light in my city and in my life, and last but not least- my incredible client who graciously sharpen me and allow me to bloom. THANK YOU!
