We had the good fortune of connecting with Jett Lewis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jett, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Taking risks has played a major part in shaping who I am. Even though I’m only 19, I feel like I’ve already faced several moments where I had to trust myself and leap into the unknown. Whether it was traveling to Brazil and Mexico, solo traveling to Costa Rica, or moving out on my own at 18, each decision required me to step outside of what felt comfortable and familiar. To me, taking risks isn’t about being reckless — it’s about growth. It’s about recognizing fear and moving forward anyway. Every time I’ve chosen to take a leap, I’ve learned something new about myself and the world around me. These experiences have taught me to be resourceful, independent, and open to different perspectives. In my generation, there’s so much pressure to succeed — and fast. Especially in the social media world, you mostly see people’s highlight reels: the wins, the achievements, the perfect moments. What you don’t often see are the risks they took to get there, or the failures and setbacks along the way. That can make taking risks feel even scarier because it seems like everyone else has it all figured out. But the truth is, no real success happens without taking chances. Risk has pushed me to develop a deeper sense of confidence — not just in my ability to navigate new situations, but in trusting my instincts and making decisions aligned with who I want to become. Even when things don’t go exactly as planned, I’ve found that I always come out stronger, wiser, and more resilient. For me, risk isn’t something to avoid — it’s something to embrace. It’s where the real learning happens. It’s where growth lives. And more often than not, it’s the doorway to the most meaningful parts of life.

What sets me apart is my strong sense of dedication and motivation. I’m highly driven and committed to personal growth, and I take pride in pushing myself beyond limits—even when the journey is uncomfortable. I’ve reached where I am today by learning to trust myself and by continuously stepping outside of my comfort zone.
What a lot of people don’t know is that before any of this, I spent 13 years doing gymnastics. I was always an active person, constantly moving, training, and setting goals. Gymnastics was a huge part of my identity—it shaped my mindset, my discipline, and how I approached life. But everything changed when I suffered an injury that brought my gymnastics career to an unexpected end. It was devastating, not just physically but mentally. For a while, I felt lost. I had poured so much of myself into that world, and suddenly it was just… gone.

During that time, I started exploring new ways to express myself and stay connected to fitness. That’s when I stumbled into social media content. At first, it was just a creative outlet—but over time, I realized I had something valuable to offer. I slowly got into the gym, started learning more about strength training, recovery, and mindset, and soon discovered how much I loved helping people feel strong and capable in their own skin.

What started as a personal healing journey became a way to support others. I began posting helpful, informative, and motivational content—not just about fitness, but about mindset, growth, and navigating challenges. It’s been incredibly rewarding to connect with people who see themselves in my story and to know that something I share might make their day a little better or their journey a little easier.

As someone who naturally gravitates toward control, learning to let go and embrace the unknown was a real challenge. But through it all, I’ve gained resilience, adaptability, and a deeper understanding of myself. What excites me most about the future is the opportunity to see who I become and what I’m capable of accomplishing. I’m eager to keep evolving, keep showing up, and keep exploring the possibilities that lie ahead—not just for me, but for the community I’ve built and continue to grow with.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had a friend visiting Denver, I’d definitely take them to Red Rocks for the incredible views—it’s one of those spots that never gets old. For breakfast, I’d bring them to Pete’s Kitchen off Colfax, one of my all-time favorites that I’ve been going to forever. Then, we’d make a day trip to Great Sand Dunes National Park — it’s such a unique and beautiful spot. After that, we could head to Golden and go tubing, which is always a fun way to unwind.

We’d also have to explore Boulder, with its charming streets and scenic views. Maybe we’d even pack a picnic and enjoy it by the creek or in one of the many parks. And of course, no trip to Colorado would be complete without an epic hike. There are so many amazing trails here, each offering something different — from mountain views to peaceful forests. It’d be the perfect way to end an adventurous day!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give a huge shoutout to my younger sister, Milan. Our relationship hasn’t always been easy, and we’ve definitely had our fair share of bumps along the way. But over the years, we’ve grown incredibly close, and now we’re practically inseparable. Through rocky relationships, ups and downs, and the challenges life throws at us, she’s the one person I know will always have my back, no matter what. And I’m there for her in the same way.

She’s the person who isn’t afraid to call me out when I need it most, and I’m grateful for that. She keeps me grounded and reminds me of who I truly am. Having a built-in best friend who I can trust through everything is something I’ll always cherish. Milan, I’m lucky to have you by my side.
