We had the good fortune of connecting with Richardo Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Richardo, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business has everything to do with adding value to our planet. I wanted to create something that everyone could use, recycle, and give back to someone else. Creating Precipitate as a bottled water company encompasses that vision because everyone can drink water, the containers used to hold the water can be recycled, and with my donation program people can give back bottled water to our youth who participates in sports or recreational programs.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am proud of having the opportunity to create products and having the opportunity to share those products with everyone. I was achieve to achieve the level of business through professional experience working from some of the largest companies in the world and of course a lot of self learning / hard work… The road to achieving your dreams is not easy and most importantly it takes times (our most precious resource). Some of the challenges I had to overcome in order to gain success has a lot to do with planning your work then working your plan. Being consistent to your vision along with not being afraid to collaborate with other people and ideas. Also, managing your time effectively with a family, working a traditional job, and working your 5 to 9 or your dream. Some of the lessons I have learned along the way are to be patient, collaborate, never say the word “can’t”, embrace the grind of building your business. Something I would like the world to know about my brand and our story is we developed a business design to drive cohesion within our communities along with giving back to the communities who we serve.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my friends were visiting for a long weekend I would start out by getting donuts in the morning from Hurts Donuts in Parker, Co to grab some amazing speciality donuts. Then we would drive up to Winter Park to snow mobile for 3 to 4 hours. Once we return head over to Crisp Barbershop in Lakewood to get a fresh hair cut. After the hair cut I would head over to SteadBrook to grab a nice outfit for the night, Go home take a shower and get a quick nap then head to Red Rock for a nice show then call it a night.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a shoutout to my wife Antoinette and lovely daughter Kennedy. They provide amazing support and great feedback into all of my endeavor. Also, I would like to give a shoutout to all of my friends and family.. I have an amazing network of professional and entrepreneur friends who can bounce I ideas off of to drive better output. Last but not least I want to give a shoutout to God along with my lord and savior Jesus Christ. Without this level of support I would not able to do what I’m doing.
