We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachel Kerr and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rachel, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I never felt fulfilled at my corporate job(s). Nothing was wrong but nothing was right. I felt guilty about that for a long time. Then I worked with a life coach and everything changed. She helped me take my own strengths + passions and create a “job” out of it while also helping others.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Beauty Boost is a community for women to feel empowered, healthy & beautiful. We do this through events + experiences. Those events range from weekend retreat getaways, fitness events, empowerment workshops and socials. We also offer an OPTIONAL membership for the gal that wants to make it more of a lifestyle. We started in Columbus, OH in 2015 and now exist in 17+ cities!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
