Meet James Gilliam | Automotive Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with James Gilliam and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi James, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
For me it comes down to being passionate about what I’m doing. The passion is what keeps me consistent and it’s also what keeps me growing and getting better.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Currently I do a lot of different things. I just graduated from college with a marketing degree, so I am looking to get into the field in the near term. Right now I have my brand where I am constantly working to improve and take it to the next level. Outside of my online business/brand I have a delivery business I started with a buddy of mine that keeps me busy during the day. I think that focusing on happiness is underrated. When I think about my goals, obviously money is a big part of them but my happiness is an even bigger motivator.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting Fort Collins we would for sure eat at Krazy Karl’s and go to a local brewery since there are a ton here. We would also take a day to go to Horsetooth reservoir and go paddle boarding and tubing. Lastly we would spend some time walking through old town and checking out all the cool shops.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My dad definitely deserves some recognition. He’s the one who originally sparked my interest in cars and is a big reason why I have gotten to where I am today. I don’t know if he saw the potential in this brand how I saw it a couple years ago but either way he supported me 100% and continues to be a big supporter which I’m very grateful for.
