Honestly a few years back when COVID really hit hard, it shut down a lot of businesses, including my own. I found that it was taking a huge toll on the people we loved as well as on ourselves. Not only physically, mentally, but spiritually too. We decided that there had to be some positive that came from our new world. Meg Walker | Lead Singer, Songwriter, and Manger for The Better Band

I came up with the idea for The Better Band while writing one of my original songs, “B-Side”. I knew that this song was a hit and had the potential to be a fantastic rock song, but I could only play it as an acoustic singer/songwriter. I started to think about how all of the songs I write technically fall under acoustic Singer/Songwriter because I’m just a girl with a guitar, but they all have a different genre that is truer to their story. The idea behind Wyld Sisters was two fold. First, there was a really big hole in the western world for fashionable, well-functioning button up shirts. That issue needed to be addressed. As a barrel racer, I couldn’t stand how my shirts were fitting. Constantly coming un-tucked, not long enough. The list goes on! The second was that in creating this line, Wyld Sisters was able to encourage women in all walks of life to let their personalities shine and embrace their unique characteristics. Read more>>
