Coming up with CharBeauterie was developed during Covid actually. I had never toyed with the idea of food, catering or designing it anyways but I saw a need when during an online vendor event, a gal from Colorado Springs participated. She offered this service and delivered to Thornton CO! That’s quite the trek but she received many orders. I wondered if there was a need in the area so I got to work on what was needed to start a charcuterie business. I came up with the idea for my business out of need. I was sick for so long with chronic lyme disease and was unable to find help in the conventional world of medicine. I found my way to Functional Medicine and worked with amazing practitioners who helped get me back on my feet. After I climbed my way out of the chronic illness rabbit hole using functional/integrative methods. I was so impressed in how these tools brought be back to vibrant health, that I went back to school and received a Masters degree in Clinical Nutrition and Integrative Health so that I could officially start to help other people do the same. I opened the doors at STANDwellness in 2013. It has done nothing but grow ever since! I think the best businesses come from the identification of a need that is not being met. STANDwellness fills a gap in the healthcare system that helps people to optimize their body’s potential- no matter what stage they are.
