We had the good fortune of connecting with Alex Luis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alex, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
I don’t think people outside of the strength and conditioning industry understand how much a tool for transforming your life it can be. It is my main contributing factor to how I have been able to accomplish everything in my life thus far.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started my business Elevated Training Co shortly after the lockdowns at the beginning of the pandemic. It was created out of a need to still be productive while I didn’t have my regular job.

I originally started with small group classes in a park to help people remain healthy but I quickly realized I may be able to turn this into the business I had always imagined. When I returned to in-person training at the local gym I worked at I had lost the majority of my clients due to the pandemic so I was faced with the decision to rebuild my clientele or venture out on my own.

I thankfully chose the latter and the first year of being in business was a grind every day to try and figure out my way on social media while creating a business from nothing. Shortly after that first anniversary, things started clicking and I started gaining traction that has continued.

Six months later I have been in business for 18 months and in the first full calendar year, I have been able to make a better living for myself than ever before all while doing what I love to do every day.

I believe what allows me to stand out in my industry is that I take a full-on personalized holistic approach with my clients because I know for this to change their life for the better I need total buy-in. Having this kind of approach has led me to understand scientific laws and principles to ensure my clients can get the results they desire not only physically but mentally and spiritually as well.

I believe my brand is here to help those looking to take their lives to the next level. I have clients that are high-level athletes to high-level professionals what they all share in common is the drive to be better each day.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The one thing I tell everyone that they have to experience if they make it to Colorado is Red Rocks. I have a bit of an obsession with Red Rocks so much that I have a mural of it on my back so the main attraction would be a live show there. Outside of that going into the mountains and exploring what they have to offer for a week would be a definite recommendation maybe go on hikes like hanging lake.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate this to those who have shown support for what I do. Without you I wouldn’t be so driven to provide the best results possible.
