We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexandria Reed and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexandria, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Nothing brings me more joy than making an impact in someone’s life. A sizable one. What I find so beautiful about it is that it’s transcendent. My job is two-fold: I get to see past the doubt and fear and uncertainty of my clients and secure the home of their dreams, and I get to uplift and share the stories of powerful women, whether or not they realize their power on their own. Hell, I have those days, but they used to far outweigh the much brighter ones I have now. But, because of what I get to do everyday, on my own terms, it’s changed my life. Now, back to its transcendence, right? I love, more than anything, being able to impact my family’s life. It brings me so much joy to know that I can give my daughters what I would have never imagined even asking for as a kid – beyond material things. The much needed affection, cuddles, those smothering kisses we would’ve never dared to admit we needed. Ok, and yes, I can’t lie, I’m very proud of my Aria’s unforgettable, most dreamy, golden birthday party last month.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My storytelling comes from several sources including a joyful career in Real Estate, my accessible and inspirational lifestyle website and blog, plus my practical, and refreshingly human podcast, GladiateBeautifully. Whether I am mentoring other mamas on being resolute and self-compassionate, intentional parents (AND wives AND bosses -because you can be all of it sis!), or staging a home to tell the seller’s story, I get to share in someone else’s journey. When I am exploring a client’s dream for their future place to rest or providing a platform for others like myself to share their stories, I get to open doors for connection. While I hunt down insider deals or offer killer insight to trends, I get to join my sisters as they reconnect to their individuality with style and confidence. In all I do, I hope to serve others and bring a spark of joy into their days.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’d start the day by grabbing breakfast at HashTAG, and then stroll about Cherry Creek North to shop, shop, shop. In the afternoon, we’d have to bop over to Bigsby’s Folly for some wine and their *to-die-for* spinach artichoke dip. And of course, one last shop stop at Wish Boutique for parting Denver gifts. To wrap up the evening, we’d grab a scoop or two of Sweet Cooie’s best ice cream, and head over to Wash Park to people watch! Glorious.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Glennon Doyle’s Untamed was a game changer for me. It gave me a lot of validation and permission to trust my gut-feeling, or my “knowing,” as she puts it.

The Gladiate Beautifully community! What started out as a humble podcast has now erupted into a vast community of incredible people living out their power.
