Meet Antonio Trujillo (TXNITRUE) | Rapper & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Antonio Trujillo (TXNITRUE) and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Antonio, why did you pursue a creative career?
I chose an artistic career because it was everything i knew as a youth. I grew up hearing the music that my mother and father loved and it always Had a big influence on me. Both my mom and dad are very talented people as well.My dad Use to be a tattoo artist and my mom would listen to the latest pop songs at the time. I come from a large family of grandchildren on my dads and moms side, A lot of my cousins, uncles, and aunties are Musicians, Artists and have Chosen paths in the art and entertainment industry as well.
I started hustling and working at a young age, i knew that Music was something i wanted to do. I took music and band every year in school, one year my parents had even put me in the local marching band.
I was a shy youth and i was born to young parents that had to work a lot so i wasn’t able to be molded into the young man i could’ve been at a young age. We didn’t have a lot of money when i was growing up so i never got to have my own instruments, or Audio equipment. I eventually bought myself a computer and Got the latest introductory interface and microphone bundle and i started learning my passion in my spare time.
Soon-after, I started messing around with drugs and took a horrible route that would have gotten me no where.
I never felt like i could be at a 9-5, Don’t get me wrong I’m a very hard worker, But I’ve always had a hard time dealing with rules, lmao. I’ve just always had to much creativity built up in me too, anytime i had a break all i could focus on was writing a poem, a rap, a song, or just my thoughts. If i wasn’t writing i was reading or watching a video i was creating something somehow. Eventually i even dove back into my childhood and rewatched a lot of shows that i had seen before. When i was a teenager i always lost interest in something after the first time.
During this period from 18-20 i was in and out of self recovery, i was going to one of the local health clinics for help but it was a choice i had to make myself. It took a lot of self realization, But i eventually got out of it. Those are events i could speak on another day….
I could fly if You buy, Eyelids watching the road…..
Since then now 24, I’m clean from the choices of the past and i work hard to lead and be a positive role model for everyone around me. I now run my music business full time as well as working other hustles Like DoorDash/Sales/Thrifting that have been great to build the skills that i need to succeed in the path i’ve chosen. From then Anyone Can Thrive Studios was born and a new Chapter in my life has started.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Firstly, I enjoy music whole heartily. During some dark times in my life it was the only way i was able to see the light. I could say that i’m very proud of myself for being able to learn and grasp everything that i always wanted to be able to. I always wanted to be able to jam out on music equipment, or be able to record myself.
I always wanted to be able to be apart of my own Video or TV Show and those are things i’m able to now work towards. Although i haven’t picked up playing guitar proficiently or all of the other instruments i want to play doesn’t mean i won’t one day. I’m still learning about them when i can.
Don’t get me wrong it didn’t come easy by far. Even tho i had a good grasp on music and i was a fast learner at everything else i’ve been taught in school and throughout my life. It takes dedication and maturity to be able to look at a at first fun hobby as a career.
I started learning how to record myself and a lot of music business stuff around 16!
Before i was able to work on a great Computer I always worked on Computers that had maybe 4gb of RAM so you could see the learning curve i fought against. I had set up my first workstation around this time in my Bedroom at my apartment.
It took years of dedication, study, and practice. Some of which could have been faster if i had the means to start out on more professional equipment.
I continued building my Skills on a Great Universal Voice Recording and Editing Software Audacity, Later working with Sony’s Introductory Software Acid Music Studio, Moving onto Acid Pro. I also learned basics in other Industry Standard Softwares Until finally Switching to Apple and Jumping into GarageBand and Logic Pro. When i started using Mac it made the whole creative process so much easier.
When i first started putting out Quality Content on my Professional path around 20 years old, I Created Everything in GarageBand on my iPhone and edited on iMovie and Posted to Social Media. Now this was quality compared to a lot of what i was doing at first!
Fast forward to about two years later and i’m an expert in my Dedicated DAW/Software and Workstation and i’ve picked up new Skills such as – Songwriting, Audio Engineering, Audio Production, Sound Design, Dj’ing, Video Editing, Video Production/Direction, Mentoring, Clothing Design, Graphic Design, Social Media Management, and So much More!
Some of the biggest lessons i learned came from all of the mistakes i’ve made a long the way, and without a lot of the decisions i made i wouldn’t have gained Most of the experience i did in such a short time!
I want the world to Know that i’m here to leave an Impact in the time that i have on this Earth, Anyone Can Thrive to me is more than just a saying or a Thought that we think of to Ourselves in a time of Doubt. It’s everything we need to truly Strive for!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If i was going to take a friend on a Trip here in Colorado it would have to be Camping Number One, There are so many awesome campsites and national parks here in Colorado! If it were just to do something in the City, Angelos Pizza At the Riverwalk in Pueblo is a great place to eat!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I always try to give credit when its due and for me, every person that i’ve ever came into contact with has been an influence to me. Even if it was for just a moment. I’ve always learned by taking influences and understanding how they can apply to an aspect in my life, if they have no value to me, then it’s out the Door! Three Majors for me though would be my Mentor Adrian Duran, Author John Maxwell, and Rob Level of Smart Rapper!
I’d also like to Shoutout my Hardworking Wife Selena! She has always been one of my Biggest Motivations!
