Meet Armando Loma | Artist/ musican

We had the good fortune of connecting with Armando Loma and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Armando, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I need to set a foundation for my music.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
So my beginning stages of becoming an artist was no easy task. Learning how to self record my self with a few friends growing up lead to becoming a artist slash promoter for the moxi. I overcame obstacles by putting my brain to work and watching how things were getting done and manifested it greatly through out time. Lessons I learn along the way are such as nothing is free you have to put work in to get to the road you looking for and mine is creating a risk free environment for locals to hop on decent credible shows and shine. While at the same time sharing my craft with everyone I meet. My art form is music I go by Kodean IX. Straight outta Greeley my label is OGT productions along side a few more artist that are part of my label. As of my story my back round comes from a violent history of gangs that once had the city on edge as time pasted so did the era of being Thug. Some of us went to prison , county and some changed for the better me I choose the music scene and been on a righteous path ever since.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The best places to hang out in my city are locally owned businesses particular. I would love to show them how awsome the vibes are at the moxi theater from all aspects of the music scene they provide and the decline would be Stella’s pin ball arcade with its vintage gaming choice and food. If you are attending lunch with me at Stella’s it’s a must that we get the goblin fries and some pickle shots.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out the hip hop / rap genere as a whole for inspiring me. My biggest influences was Texas. Rap scene and mid west like Tech N9ne and twista
