We had the good fortune of connecting with Aron Snyder and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aron, do you disagree with some advice that is more or less universally accepted?
The importance of a good education. Not saying it isn’t important, I have a master’s degree. But experience is infinitely more valuable than education.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career has nothing to do with the @303_burgerofthemonth account I created on Instagram for fun. Denver has a thriving restaurant scene but with everyday life and the health/money costs of eating out all the time, I don’t make it to that many new restaurants so I thought creating this account that focuses on one type of food would be a good opportunity to visit new places.

Initially I was limiting this account to just meat-based burgers. But with so many meatless options available, I decided to include them as well. I usually have more than one burger a month so probably need to revisit the name of the account someday but haven’t focused on it since this is really just for fun. I’m not tech savvy at all so I haven’t figured out how to make the most out of this account.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Eat burgers at Cherry Cricket or Park Burger.

I’m a Broncos fan so would make them attend a game with me (I have season tickets)

Drive up to the top of Mt. Evans and stop for a hike near Echo Lake

Check out a couple of dispensaries.

Go to authentic Mexican and Asian restaurants on Colfax or Federal Boulevard

Go paddle boarding at Chatfield Reservoir
