Hi Ashlee Yasmina, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The principle of “self-awareness cultivation” and, honestly, the value of time is what matters most to me. This principle is the foundation of my business and my life. Cultivation is a process.

If you think about it, cultivation is also a word commonly used in agriculture. The same can be applied to cultivating self-awareness. You prepare the soil to be its best to nourish a tiny seed that turns into plants that feed. Self-awareness requires intentional reflection often. To give life the best of you as many days as possible, keep your soil as nourished as possible. Checking in with yourself, putting in the effort to continuously get to know yourself, and seeking understanding of how you show up will help you gain and maintain confidence. It’s probably hard to deny that you would want to show up confident in every space you enter, right?

I believe self-awareness cultivation will help you live in the moment and cherish your time. And to me, what’s more, important than time?

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I own a consulting and coaching agency, LVN THE MMT (live in the moment). I started my agency in 2018 but I made a slight pivot to the business in 2020 a couple of months after I gave birth to my daughter and a few months into the pandemic. For a few years prior, I had a passion to become a Certified Professional Project Manager based on my previous Corporate experiences and had the opportunity to obtain one in January 2020. I set the goal to have at least one client by the end of June 2020. I started consulting with one client in June and in August I gained another client. I was elated that I was blessed with 2 clients so quickly. I am thankful that I still work with those clients too!

I offer business consulting and coaching services and the foundation of my business is self-awareness cultivation. I collaborate with solopreneurs, small businesses, and organizations to focus on developing & improving foundational structure, assessing and implementing systems & processes, project management, and a few other specialty areas.

Most importantly, when someone chooses to collaborate with me they’ll learn ways to take their time back. I hope to help my clients in a way that brings about self-discovery throughout the journey of our relationship.

I am most proud of how far I have come with being able to articulate my greatest passion. It wasn’t always as clear as it is now and even when it was clear in my head, I couldn’t always articulate well to help others understand how I want to make an impact. I would love for everyone who has a chance to read this to know; You believe to achieve, achieve and succeed. You have a purpose for impact. Your success doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, I live in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, so if someone were to visit who has never been here, I would for sure take them to the Mall of America. Many Minnesotans despise the mall because it is typically overcrowded, but there are so many hidden gems there, especially if you are open-minded!

Also, in the summer, I would hit up “Eat street” in Minneapolis on Nicollet Avenue or stroll West Lake street; there are typically a lot of mom/pop places or small eateries. I try to support local businesses as much as I can.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family, blood and non-blood related, deserve a shoutout. When I have moments of frustration or overwhelm, I know who to reach out to. Not only that, but when I am unavailable because I am super focused and have many deadlines that I need to meet, they understand what my goals are. They support me so much by being ok with my drive and desire to be successful and impact the world.
