We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Paige and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Our thought process began with our two daughters. We wanted to have the flexibility of our own business to be able to create our schedule to fit our lifestyle and be able to maximize being with our daughters. Also, when shopping at local natural grocery stores, we realized that there was no single serve cold treats available, and we saw this as a great opportunity. With both of these in mind, we wanted to create an all natural, mostly organic sweet treat that we felt good with our daughters eating, and that would be there for that person for a quick sweet treat when checking out. Our popsicles are handmade with fresh ingredients, that are locally sourced and mostly organic, and cater to all dietary restrictions to allow everyone of all ages to enjoy them!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets us apart from other Popsicle companies is that envy popsicle is handmade in small batches. Our flavors are also unique from others, but at the same time holding into the classic flavors that everyone knows. We also have the ability to sell our items as single serve options, or in 4 packs for those who want to bring our pops home! We have always had a dream of being able to support our lifestyle but be able to enjoy our flexibility with our schedule to maximize our time with our daughters. What we have learned from friends and acquaintances over the years is the starting a business is a lot of work. But we have been lucky enough to have great support, and a great ,location that was able to welcome us and our product and spread our name over the state. Denver has really been fortunate to us in getting out our brand name, supplying endless festivals and farmers markets for us to introduce ourselves.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We are people who love the outdoors and love to eat clean and fresh food, that has a great quality to it. Some of our favorites are Sushi Den, Levan Sandwich Cafe, North in Cherry Creek, along with many others. Some of our favorite places to go are City Park because you can go on a great walk, jog, or bike ride around there, as well as watch all of the volleyball games going on in the middle of the park. Another great trail is the Cherry Creek Trail that is a great bike ride that takes you through downtown, past the Mile High Stadium, and lets you explore Denver. When you get downtown, make sure to stop at the Dairy Block for great food and drinks! It’s a very interesting and fun part of downtown. Colorado is blessed with a lot of beautiful hikes and scenery, such as Red Rocks, Flat Irons in Boulder, the numerous mountain trails in Vail and Snow Mass, and the Manitou Incline down in Colorado Springs. Some local markets we would definitely take people too are the City Park Farmer’s Market, South Pearl Street Farmers Market, and the Pearl Street Farmer’s Market in Boulder.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We want to recognize Whole Foods, who gave us the great opportunity and platform to get our product out and around Colorado so quickly.

Also, our family and friends who have been a major supporting factor from beginning to current.
