We had the good fortune of connecting with Berenice Echavarria and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Berenice, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Balance is so important yet so challenging between being a mother, working my regular job, working on my business and finding the time to work on myself. Finding the balance to do all these things has definitely being very challenging. As a single mother of two boys and having a teenager now has been hard, I’ve found ways to make it all work somehow someway. Sometimes life throws unexpected things your way and you just have to roll with the punches and always keep moving forward no matter what. I’ve always tried to balanced things the best possible way and as years go by I can say that I get better at balancing life out, One thing that has helped me is making time for myself no matter what, over the years I’ve learned that if I’m doing good that means my boys are doing good and everything else runs smoothly.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I got my Real Estate license this year, so I been working on my business and figuring out this whole real estate world and let me tell you it’s been very overwhelming and stressing. A lot of learning, there’s so much to this is not just the cute professional pictures and the selling houses and getting paid there’s so much behind the scenes as well as the money that you are investing specially when you are not making any money yet, while having your regular 9-5 that pays for bills, and being a mom all at the same time. One thing I know for sure is that I will succeed my drive, my motivation and most importantly my discipline will pay off, I’ve never been scared to put in the work and I know I got it. One thing for sure that sets me to be different is the type of person that I am, I genuinely love to help people however I can and building my business and helping people reach goals that they never thought they would definitely gets me really excited and makes me want to work harder and have a very successful business. I’ve worked on myself for so many years that nowadays all I want to do is spread is positivity, good vibes and help people.t I also want to show single moms that anything is possible that just because you are a single mom, young mom, older mom etc. doesn’t mean anything that you can still accomplish big things in this world regardless. To love yourself so deeply and know that you are worthy of absolutely everything in this life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If someone came out of town to visit I would take them to some of the places that I like to go that would be the art district, they have this pizza place Cart-Driver Rino the pizza is to die for and their sour beer is delicious. I love art myself I like painting and sketching. Walk around and take lots of pictures. Red Rocks is definitely up there as well, always down for a hike or just to go for the views. My fav restaurant for brunch is Necio. Colorado Springs is beautiful you can rent an Airbnb and explore out there, last time I rented an Airbnb it was a stylish tiny home hosted by Andrew and his wife. Paint Mines is beautiful to go see and explore. My favorite place to hike is the Grand Canyon Estate Park in George Town. I like to get out there and explore when I can. I am a homebody at heart though but I do enjoy nature a lot.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My church, Red Rocks church. I’ve been attending this church for the past 4/5 years or so. The first time I ever went I was suicidal. I still remember that day like it was yesterday and since it has really been a big part of my life. I’ve always had a relationship with god but my relationship with god has been growing so much since. I’m so thankful for this church, so thankful for everything they do and for helping me through my hardest battles in life. Red Rocks church is definitely making heaven more crowded.
